Need More Information?
To obtain additional information about visa processing, or to check the status of your application, you may call (202) 319-2983, between 10 a.m. and noon, Monday through Friday
** Only an invitation verified by the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (for business trips) or the Passport and Visa Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia (for private trips) is considered to be official.
An e-Visa is the equivalent of a conventional visa, but the entire process is conducted electronically between the applicant and the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of the Republic of Armenia. Paper plays no part in the application process, nor is there a visa affixed to the applicant's passport upon receipt.
An e-Visa can be attained directly through the MFA website. You can also check the status of your e-Visa using the MFA website.
When submitting an application for an e-Visa, you will need to provide passport and credit card information. The application is processed immediately and in most cases, a visa is issued within 2 business days. Applicants and border control agents are informed simultaneously. Currently, e-Visas are available for air travelers arriving at Zvartnots International Airport only.
